Steve -

Welcome to the three of you and your thread.

Deron and Ed, I hope to see some of your words and thoughts in print on this thread...it would be nice to get to meet you.

How about if I ask all three of you a couple of questions in the hope of getting to know you better (you too Steve...even though many of us have a pretty good idea where you are coming from)

Question #1

In the past three months what has been your biggest trading mistake? (yes, we all make them)....I am not looking for specific trade details per se but for the trading fundamental/tenet/truism/theory that you violated and/or neglected...even better would be a new observation/awareness/perception that mistake was the catalyst for.

Question #2

What are your individual risk/money management parameters per trading style...swing, intraday, short term, long term etc.?

Question #3

Given a fictitious trading portfolio of $750,000 and three different accounts:

intraday

swing/overnight

short term (2- 12 weeks)

how would you proportion this portfolio and would this remain static...if not what criteria (and when) would you use to shift said proportions?

I will not be offended if you choose not to answer or deem questions non-productive...just thought of them off the cuff so to speak and thought what the heck.

good luck in your venture

Regards,

Cormac

I just wanted to say a few good words about the Intraday Investments Trading Site. I'm a member and have experienced the advantages of trading with Deron, Ed and Steve and the other members of the room. The combined trading knowledge of the moderators is awesome and the fact that they've decided to share this knowledge is even better.
Each of the three has something special to offer to the group, so we are always looking at the market from many different angles. They are genuinely interested in sharing the methods and tools they've used successfully to enable the members to make their own picks. This makes for a close knit group that has lots of resources at their disposal.
On a personal level, though these haven't been the easiest times to put together a string of good days, my account grows healthier by the day. Since being with these three guys my trading style has changed for the better.I'm churning much less during the day and saving lots on fees and aggravation. My losses are much less frequent and smaller and this has left lots of room for winners to add up.
I'm looking forward to the next trading day and using what the room has to offer to hone my trading skills. My stress is down, my account is up. Thanks Deron, Ed and Steve----Best,klinger
