Frank, I don't have anything like your knowledge of this matter, but my limited understanding is that somebody's gotta do something. Watching the world go through this never-ending Alphonse-and-Gaston routine, while another layer of bandages is applied, has been painful.

It's probably a naïve observation, but I'm inclined to applaud the decision to make the migration to IPv6 - and the courage and foresight of those companies that have made the commitment.

Lacking the sophistication of others on this subject, I see that it is not the only solution, it is not a painless solution - but it is the most constantly-recurring solution I come across.
