George, the RRRR deal will allow MTNT to clear about half of their debt from their balance sheet.

An interesting observation from MoneyDaily:

<It's a small world, isn't it? There are only two satellite
radio companies licensed by the FCC, Sirius [SIRI] and XM
Radio [XMSR]. Premier private equity firm Apollo owns a
slug of Sirius -- and now, it looks like Apollo is going to
own some XM, too. Motient [MTNT], which owns 15 million
shares of XM, announced that it's acquiring Rare Medium
[RRRR] (cool ticker), in which Apollo owns stock.>
