the only trade I have made today is a fisrt real small short on EBAY at 56.65
and that is a "hold position short" not a trade
would add to it maybe each 4-5 points higher

otherwise any trade today till the fed would bre a 'forced trade', which i would likely regret

>>>>>> though. would be interested in other's thoughts on it after reading.

ironic that I am to attend the funeral this afternoon of one of the folks to whom I would've forwarded/hardcopied/given a copy of your post, Larry.....

John was a retired stock broker buddy of mine who was continually "warning" me of the vast bottomless black hole of the market where I've plied my trading for the past years....
he sold out early last year and went to bonds whilst I continued to trade ...
both of us have made a little dinero so therein lies a story ....

wishing and hoping won't get it done .... thoughtful action is required in investing ..

In the nine pages of writing, I could find verrrrrry little with which to disagree... but ...
long OR short ====> trading is still THE method with which to increase a bank account as far as I'm concerned.

the KEY is " set stops "

my old time proven BCT method will hopefully provide for me in the upcoming years as well as it has done in the past ...

BUT

if and when it fails, I'll attempt to change IT and ME ....
I won't wish and hope for things to get better without effort on my part .....

I'll leave you with an old redneck phrase ====

"wish in one hand
sh#t in the other

see which one fills up first"

thanks for your continued efforts on the Zthread

Larry---I have read Grant's comments for years. He was bearish during the ENTIRE Bull Move of the 90"s.
