Yes, it was Pat, not Jerry. Gov. Flashlight has expanded the general fund spending $22 billion in 3 years. That is the entire amount of the '82 budget of Jerry Brown. Gov. Davis has grown the budget more in 3 years than it grew in the first 148 years. The new budget spends 9% of personal income per capita, up from 8% of per capita from the '98-'99 budget. That's a pretty good hike (12.5%) for one year.
