The politicization of science by the left to promote their anti-humanity agenda is one of their most notorious culture-threatening efforts. Some call it "junk science", but that's for too kind a term for the attempted destruction of one of Western Civilization's greatest achievements. The charlatans who jump in to the "activism" are opportunists and warp-brained leftists with a science interest, but few relevant qualifications. The truly dedicated scientist will seldom find motivation to waste his time disputing such fools and frauds, so they must be sought out by those who would defend science and society from the damage threatened.

All Bush really has to do to shut up Daschlegephardt on global warming is assign truly qualified scientists to do the first actual objective study (rather than the politically and fraud-motivated ones that exist today) and global warming, like acid rain, cat-burnung, and socialism, will be de-bunked...
