I am not short AMAT or anything else. I don't short. Conviction doesn't make money, strategy and stock picking do. I am about 45% cash 55% stock. In the short run, I will not bet heavily on the rational behavior of investors. If AMAT falls to my range, I will have paper losses but I will be able to accumulate at low prices. I will then become a long term holder until AMAT and others become overvalued and then I will sell some or all. If AMAT and others don't fall to my range, I will have the 55% stock to ride up.
