Dear Scumbria: I happen to believe their is only one God, how could it not be so? But, that doesnt mean the Muslim, and all others isnt the same as the Christians, just dressed differently for that culture. Have you never noticed how similar the tenets are for all religions? JDN

When you look at the many different religions you start to realize that there are many similarities amongst the religious folklore. I believe that there is only one God but he( or she) is revealed to different cultures in different ways. Much can be learned from all the world's religions. Unfortunately, there is great power in religious control over people. The very nature of politics is not something that's in line with Christian teachings. How many parents march their kids to their State Capitols to teach them ethics or morals? LOL The very nature of the political beast is one of corruption so I hate to see religion getting into politics. It'll only corrupt the religion because religion surely won't change politics. The two need to be separated.
