"Be bold, go forth and gamble! <GGGG>" No time for gambling, to busy<g>..Next Winter will be the time for me to expand my strategies to include shorting. For now, shifting to cash will have to do..Luckily, Janus makes it easy and free for me to do it, moved my entire account to MM funds yesterday..Of course, that means everyone else should buy and send the market soaring<g>..Energy pricing has me worried, oil flirting with $30 is not good. Not to mention, just as interest rate cuts take time to work through the system, so do job cuts and layoffs, this should begin to show up in consummer confidence numbers soon,IMO..
Summer dulldrums are upon us, as shown by the trading volume as of late..Hard to find positives..;^)DD
PS: CNBC showed an interesting chart of the Naz yesterday, which included points where the Fed rate cuts had come..Looked like the market has fallen each time rates were cut..We'll see.. BTK is approaching a duble bottom breakdown,,watch 520 for confirmation.590 on the SOX will also show a DB breakdown..a 2050 print on the COMP will also show a DB breakdown, but should be strong support, with a good size gap to be possibly filled to 1700(let's see if that support can hold)..may sideline it for more than a day or two..if the shortsellers can get a move down started, it could be significant,IMO
