I don't know the breakdown of what contributed more, and I suspect that neither do you, therefore we can't say with any certainty that Cu doesn't provide an advantage (which you in your post here: siliconinvestor.com;

I also seem to remember something about the physical gate length being shorter on their copper process as well, but I can't find my old notes. *shrug* I honestly don't think there is clean data.

On the move to .13u, will still have an Al .13u process, or only Cu?

As far as I know Intel is using copper exclusively on 0.13 micron, but someone like Ten would probably know better...
