The whine now being served by Korea is hardly a nice bubbly at the contract win by Samsung. Watch for quite a bit of complaining from the Korean press about the most-favored-nation royalty rates that Korea supposedly has negotiated with Qualcomm. I have no idea about the details, but from the little I have seen Korean manufacturers may be in line for a royalty reduction. As the lowered Chinese royalties are for domestic built and consumed (non-export), I am guessing that it may be the same for Korea.
