sepku, MS Word can stand alone, without having MS Office installed. At least that's how my Dell came last year.

You must have the installation disk. I checked my Office 2000 and couldn't see how to remove individual programs such as Access and Power Point without removing the complete office suite. Then you can install only those programs which you use. Maybe someone else is more familiar with this.
