Ibexx....thats correct...
If you buy the the calls and puts, its a long straddle...if you sell the calls and puts, its a short straddle....
The difference is that in a long straddle, the investor hopes the price will move up or down...with a short straddle, the investor hopes the underlying security will remain flat.
