If you are bullish on NEM you can buy back your calls on Friday. By doing that you will not lose your shares and will have a small loss instead of big gain. I sold both 17.5 and 20. I hope 20 will expire and might buy back 17.5 I think that this year we, gold bugs, will support treasury with our HUGE capital gains on gold stocks. This is accounting that we might sell just a few % of our gold stocks. I dream. -G- If you trade in IRA you don't care about taxes. About replacement you better ask Heinz. I'm sure he'll pick HGMCY, GOLD or DROOY. He hates AU and ASA holds lots of AU. May be some Canadian juniors? They may be very explosive. Would you like another opportunity to buy NEM below $13? -G-

I sold today as well, After the bullish future rate cut talk today I regret it, but since I paid 14.40 ill take the 7 bucks :)

if you are thinking ASA -- why not just buy GOLD and HGMCY? if you're stuck on funds why not look at all of them -- you like ASA just for the discount to NAV??
