89sma is absurd! :) in my opinion and I understand that you were just offering technical help in how to overcome program hurdles. A 21 simple avg permits 10.5 days of volatility on either side of the average as normal or 'average'. I don't know how that translates to an ema but again I suspect that trend is all over the place ... both above and below the 21ema but not by quite 10.5 days of range. I would be interested if anyone has thoughts on using averages for signaling.
