That really is the $64 question. Who has made the mistake here, Intel or AMD? I guess the jury is still out but it will be a unique event if AMD et al dont throw in the towel at some point and start spending and/or end user demand for new product doesnt pick up. History is with the bulls on this one given Fed aggressiveness. AG practically told us there would be another 1/2 point in June. What I worry about is the bears "pushing string" argument a la Japan. In my opinion, we might experience or are now experiencing some of that phenomena as inventory adjustment takes place but I believe in my gut that the US situation will not deteriorate to that level. Perhaps the recovery will be delayed and/or be not as robust but I continue to believe we will get out of this hole we are now in and move to robust growth. mike
