Mark, I recently spent three years out in Silicon Valley before I returned to Boulder. I suggest an extended field trip to cure your negative attitude. I see bumper stickers like "Don't Boulderize Longmont". People need to get out more often and find out what the real threat to Boulder County is. Spend 6 months in San Jose, and I guarantee that you will have nothing but praise for Boulder when you get back. The efforts to maintain the integrity of the city are in sharp contrast to Silicon Valley, where all the cities run together in one large amorphous mass, and where people spend 2 hours a day commuting to work.
