I think you hit the nail on the head. They have been hard to count because it has ALL been corrective wiggles now for a couple of weeks.

I'd kill for an impulse-ng

Velo- Per your count...when do you think this corrective up ends? Given that the early stochastics just turned....I'd think it could last much of today, no?

I'm wondering if the corrective drags into options ex day....and then we see that final push to 2000 or so...

FWIW, I think the move in non-tech is the last wave of the large rally off of the Mar 22 low. It sure looks that way on the daily charts. Therefore, I don't think we just blast off from here and actually there is a decent shorting opportunity coming in non-tech as we begin to correct the entire move form March.
