Russ:

I don't disagree with your contention that the juniors are the better investment in the longer run, however, initially the majors get the the most bang for the buck. Mutual funds will largely stick with majors to diversify their portfolios in the beginning of a move. Percentagewise, the juniors will outperform, but that comes after the initial move.

Hi Russ:

I've seen a few of these rallies over the decades, well three that I'm willing to admit being aware in, and it always seems to me that the majors still get the first bump ups as funds and large pension plans buy into the get into gold idea, whether or not the fundamentals are correct or not. With internet usage way up since the pre Bre-X run up perhaps this rally will be different, but we might take a page from tech run up and gloss the fundamentals and go with the momentum. I know in your last reply to me you suggested you don't have an exit strategy, but I'm sure from all I've learned from you in your posts that you have something in mind.

As for me, four majors and seven explorers purchased Apr 2 with tight stops on the majors, but how can I complain when NEM + 37%. Will roll these over to juniors soon if they don't keep going up. What a problem?

Regards

Bob

russwinter, nice presentation, thanks for sharing! I would like to find some juniors with good value. Do you have any suggestions or can you steer me to a source which evaluates these smaller companies?
