Why don't you guys signed up with a CDMA carrier such as Verizon or Sprint, try the CDMA technology for a few years, then sign up with Cingular or other GSM carriers such as AT&T, try GSM for a year, and then make your comparison. I did. CDMA sucks during peak hours.

You won't get a job as a researcher anytime soon if you think you can draw such a conclusion from that little experiment.

<< sign up with Cingular or other GSM carriers such as AT&T >>

AT&T is not GSM anywhere (yet) and Cingular is only GSM on the nets formerly dba as PacBell and BellSouth Mobility. Balance of their net (9 other formr networks) is IS-136 TDMA and same for AWS.

Oh I don't have to do the experiment. When I used my thin phone to call my friends who are using pac bell during the weekend, it's almost 50/50 for me to get a "all circuits are busy" message.
