Stan,

I know we basically agree on many things.

I guess I badger TA because so many TA'ers say news and fundamentals don't affect the market,
that everything they need to know is in the charts. Which is absurd. TA is a good source that
includes all those FA things for the moment, but if a person is aware of an external event that
could affect the market, they better pay attention to it if they trade short term.

Also, drbob, issued a "hypothetical" sell signal. Long term that is probably valid, but I'm sure glad
I didn't short the dow yesterday or QQQ for that matter.

To me both TA and FA are tools. I think a trader should incorporate both and contrary to many experts
even add a pinch of gut feeling. And there are times when the tools will fail. And because they do fail
on occassion, one should be careful not to become a blind zealot of any particular tool.

Also, one should not get stuck on the market going in one direction and take advantage of it which ever direction it is going.
