ok Mr. Niceguy...lemme see if I have this straight.

If I WRITE (not buy) the June $30.00 put contract against 500 shares of AMD.....I instantly pocket the $2.80 premium ($1400 total). Then on the third week of June...if AMD closes at $29.9999 or less......I must sell my shares at that price.

Do I have this correct?
This seems like a nice way to get more upside on AMD with no cash outlay given my feeling that this stock is on its way up. As you may remember I am level 1 options so I cannot BUY options....I can only write covered options. Any advice?

Thanks,

Jason

2 AMD DURON 800
3 AMD ATHLON K7 1000 Thunderbird
4 AMD ATHLON K7 1200 Thunderbird
5 AMD ATHLON C K7 1000 Thunderbird FSB266
6 AMD ATHLON K7 900 Thunderbird
7 AMD DURON 900

Unfortunately, the Athlon 1333 is still out of stock.

The K6-2 550 isn't offered any more.

Still waiting for the Pentium 4 to make its way into the bestseller list. What do you think: Which one will be there first, the P4 or the A4???
