M&M,
Boulder is famous for diversity. You can find anything you want here, and people tend to be rather uninhibited......

Boulder doesn't have a lock on diversity. You can find anything you want in hundreds if not thousands of cities around the world. Talk about uninhibited, ever been to Capital Hill in Seattle?

Talk about diversity. What percentage of Boulder's population is Black, Hispanic, Thai, Japanese, Korean, East Indian, Pakistani, Chinese? How many Buddhist temples are in Boulder? Last time I was in Boulder it was full of WASPs. How much has that changed?

How would diversity intimidate a right winger? What little niche have you carved out for, and stuffed YOUR definition of stereotypical right winger into? M

Not to brag but you can find that same diversity at my wife's school, ...entrepreneurship, .. every teacher has some sort of fund-raising scheme going. And talk about uninhibited behavior, anything goes and in a variety of languages;)

A community is probably wise to stake out the park areas in the Master Plan as soon as possible and make them happen. They have been trying to preserve the Bolsa Chica Wetlands down here for many years and I suspect they could have done it quite reasonably 20-30 years ago. The interim has been a series of fights against development that has mostly benefitted the lawyers.
