MikeM,
What makes you think the IMF loan will trickle down to Telsim? Telsim is probably stated owned isn't it?

Only the association made by the author of my previous post:
"
According to Motorola, Telsim's problems in meeting the repayment schedule stem from fall-out
from the recent crisis in the Turkish economy and the effects of the currency devaluation.

The currency has dropped by 40 per cent since February.

The International Monetary Fund is meeting to decide whether it should release the first tranche
of a $8bn emergency loan. Turkey now has all the required legislation in place to be eligible.
"

Your probably right, MOT will be lucky to see 20cents on the dollar. One wonders how many other vendor financed "deals" by NT, CSCO, LU, Ericy,NOK etc are lurking out there waiting for their moment in the limelight.
..rr

Epoch Partners Vendor Matrix

Hi Mike,

Here's a research tool that you might find useful:

epoch.com

It is a work in progress, and lacks detail, but it does somewhat clarify who the players are in the SP and telecom equipment vendor spaces and who's scratchin' whose back.

HTH, Ray :)
