I don't know why anyone would drop AOL just to be able to use IE 5.5 browser. I prefer Netscapes browser anyway and it works fine. Come to think of it...my IE works fine too if I wanted to use it.BTW...I have Windows ME. DB

Yes, you are correct. Even if you are in IE, then run AOL, you have to restart IE for a connection; AOL definitely takes liberties in trying to dominate your PC; worse than MSFT in some ways.
