redbird:

"Lets see what tomorrow brings. I still think the flash news is not yet appreciated by the market, and is as big as the laptop."

Agreed...AMD is world leader in leading edge technological development in not one, but two major market sectors, flash and microprocessor...Going forward prospects for AMD are second to no one, as far as I can ascertain!!!

redbird, <glad I covered my calls> Amen to that! And besides that, I covered a RNWK short for a 10% profit last Friday (it zoomed 40% today) and bought AMD calls with the proceeds. I can only attribute the covering of RNWK to the Lord. I tried in vain to raise funds to buy the AMD calls by selling some calls on a drug stock (PRGO), but the order didn't get executed even 0.05 below intrinsic value. So I had to cover the RNWK at 15:58 and buy the AMD at 15:59. Now today I sold the PRGO calls right at parity, no sweat.

OTOH, I lost $2000 on Intel puts today -- should have sold them at the open today, but was up too late posting on this infernal forum. :)
