Alpha EV7 will arrive at the same time as McKinley "The first fully-functional pass of the 21364 architecture taped out last month, and the Pass 1 database has been submitted to fab partner IBM" If it's just taped out how do they know it's fully functional? Also I wouldn't consider this to be running parallel to McKinley. Would you? McKinley has been demo'd in public some time ago while EV7 hasn't even seen silicon yet (even though it's "fully functional"<G>)... EP
