Palo Alto, Calif.-based H-P reported pro forma earnings before "extraordinary items" of $356 million, compared with $887 million in the year-ago period. Revenue was $11.6 billion, down from $12 billion in the year-ago quarter. Analysts surveyed by First Call/Thomson Financial expected the company to earn 15 cents a share on revenue $11.8 billion.
