I suppose you're right. As I said in my earlier post, CPQ has tended to hit the MaxPain point. There haven't been many occasions when it has fallen far below, or gone far above (even rarer!!).
Still, you may be right that this is an interesting test month. Especially with only a few days left (2 - right?). All said, if the markets react favorably to the HWP announcement, CPQ will benefit over the next 2 days.

Interesting string of posts on Clearstation about candlestick charting....
Apparently, there is some pattern developing, with resistance at 17.5....
Wish I knew more about candlestick charting.

"Hell yeah it is! Bullish engulfing pattern on big volume generally does the trick. We may even have a bullish three river
bottom on our hands. And with stochastics rounding back up out of oversold territory, this one should be a winner at least
for the short-term. A little worried about the resistance that the 9/13/20 day EMA lines may provide, but otherwise, no
price resistance until 17 1/2. I'll be long in the morning. Thanks for pointing this one out."
