After Aprils expirations took me out of virtually every position, I sat mostly in cash, observing the last month. This morning I bought and wrote June cc's on GMST & EMC, and will be watching QCOM....looking for some
softness back around 60 to re-enter it.

Since this is the dummies thread, I will ask what may be a stupid question. In doing buy/writes, why be concerned with what the price of a particular stock may be at the time? It seems the premium % remains about the same.

Hello Scott,

I have been hovering in the shadows and reading all of the posts,

well I guess that explains that pesky buzzing I've been hearing...

Thanks for the kudos but it's the "good folks" you mention that are doing the heavy lifting. Welcome to the thread and thanks for giving us an overview of your recent efforts. It's always nice to have another experienced call writer "hovering" around. As you can see, several of us are closely watching QCOM for a cc sell point -- don't hesitate to chime in.

This market really does not want to go down any further does it?

When I was a hopeless optimist I'd have said absolutely the bottom. But now I'll just use a phrase one of my Brazilian friends finds hysterically funny, "Beats me!."

Your feet are wet Scott -- now you have to stay in the pool.

Best regards,
