Interesting, thanks. I hadn't realized that sentiment was so widely negative over on the Yahoo board. A contrarian indicator? <g>

Not everyone agrees with us -- someone with deep pockets was stepping up to the plate at the end of the day. The shares were flying for about ten minutes there.

I liquidated my shares the middle of this month, once I realized that the reason I was holding it -- a notion that the stock was a good value based on the balance sheet -- was mistaken.

Even earlier in the month I had detected a warning sign, which failed to cause me to sell but should have: that's when I read a column in a shortseller report that shorts were attracted to MTSN because of problems associated with the merger.

As a rule, shortsellers tend to research more carefully than longs, so when shorts start swarming around your stock, it's a head's up that there might be a big problem coming. I have to admit I didn't get out then, though. I waited until I saw the balance sheet.
