Sorry Scared, no professional opining on this issue from me. I suggest you read each of the signed contracts between all parties in their entirety.......... perhaps hire a patent contract expert to review it & pay him to opine. FWIW, my POV on the matter at this time is that RMBS was smart enough to make all royalty payments final....... that is, prior to the date where an official determination declares RMBS has lost all pertinent patent rights for SDRAM & DDR relative to the contract. RMBS is an IP house. Realizing royalty payments for their IP is their main gig. No doubt there is a certain level of expertise in obtaining patents & closing favorable royalty contracts. Considering the size & financial ware-with-all of RMBS compared to all of the companies currently paying royalties........ I would think that if they felt there was a slight chance they could win, they would pile on now....... while RMBS is currently up to it's eye teeth litigating those who do not wish to pay. These same companies were also in JDEC, so I'm sure they knew the score before they signed. No doubt they can't be pleased that their competition isn't paying. In fact, one or more of the companies currently paying RMBS have said they will continue to pay......... I'm not aware of any of these companies publicly stating they intend to pursue this type of action (to stop paying)........ RMBS held a CC after losing the court case with INFX & did not warn (per Reg FD) that loss of royalty payments for SDRAM & DDR was a potential outcome........ or that the outcome of the court case had increased the risk of this event......... and there have not been any 8-K filings with the SEC that warn of this potentially material event...... in fact if it was already disclosed in any SEC filing or other official publication, I am sure that certain media would have published numerous articles beating it to death....... and Team FUD would have posted it here ad nauseam. As of now, I think that RMBS may have a fairly strong contract with a fair amount of protection....... IF, by some chance, their patents would be officially ruled invalid. Oh, regarding your request for my services to review financial statements, income statements & etc.,........ SIWTSWS. BTW, I am not an IP/contract specialist or expert, nor have I implied being any such expert......... thus I am not able to give you any free professional opinions. If something I have posted led you to this inaccurate conclusion, please provide a link to my specific statements......... .......which IMHO, do not exist....... ........Or, are you assuming that all auditors have vast expertise in every possible field of public &/or private financial, legal & compliance auditing? Apparently you are confusing KG4 & TEAM FUD's false allegations with reality. Perhaps one of you could refresh my memory with precisely what I said about my area of expertise. I believe I only briefly mentioned being an auditor with some experience exposing fraud which was discussed in regard to my POV of Team FUD............ but there was no mention of specific areas of expertise............ in fact, there was only sufficient information to give some context to my POV........... no more, no less......... although you & KG4, ET AL, have certainly made rewritten history on the subject.
