Thanks for your kind words. I've been following this thread for well over a year now, and have obtained some new and interesting ideas and insights re investing from some of the members here. I was an avid investor in the 1980's, chiefly buying bank IPOs with a good deal of success. I got my biggest lesson in Oct., '87 - got 3 very significant margin calls in 1 week~ I survived, but will never forget that period of my life. I still recall the very good deals you could get on a used Rolex or BMW if you had friends who worked at the big brokerages after that one. Since then, I'm somewhat more cautious and rational in my investments and margin use :)

Looking forward to more ideas and guidance from you and the regulars - I may even completely RTFM one of these days :)
