I thought the game market was pretty big. Doesn't every kid have a Nintendo AND PS2?

Microsoft can reportedly sell 10 million XBoxes in the first year. At $299 a crack that's $2,990,000,000.00 isn't it? Then there are the games where the profits are.
Sega is already on board.
These X-boxes do even more: including online gaming, play DVDs and don't be surprised if there is a module down the line where you can watch movies on demand.
Knowing Ballmer and Gates, they are not going to give these boxes away at too much of a loss...
It's Intel that will get the squeeze. I'll bet MS is paying about $30 for a P-III or less.
Sony is going to feel a big squeeze...
