ardethan,

Re.<< I'll tell you what, one thing that's pretty clear is that Rambus riles people up about as much as any other small company in history.>>

I think I indicated before that I was long this stock once. I bought it because at that time it was like a bouncing ball - big swings every few days. I lurked on the Rambus thread for a short time, and sold because the thread posts reminded me of the old Bre-X thread - all screaming & no discussion, civility, or semblance of exchange of information. Perhaps it was a bad period on that thread. I don't know because I have had no need to go back. There was so much emotion and little real discussion, I simply took my profit when I could and went elsewhere. Please note; I'm not saying the company isn't a good investment, I just feel there is too much FUD surrounding Rambus on ALL sides. When you add in a real dependence on winning numerous legal battles on different continents, my investment interest is reduced to nil. I liken the legal battles to a visit to Foxwoods - a pure gamble, IMHO. But then, I don't buy lottery tickets either. :)

All that stated, I wish all the holders of this stock the best of success. If/when you win, you will have certainly earned it, IMHO. In a perfect world, all our investments would be profitable~

Sorry to be so long-winded,
JohnD-who'd rather lurk & learn than post...
