Speakin of gas bills-- a story--- Last fall the gas marketing board sent me a letter out of the blue asking if I would like to lock in my rate at 21 cents pcf for three years. They even included a cheque to me for $50 , that, upon cashing would be my acceptance to the deal. ( all figures in CDN.) I think NG was trading in the States at under $4 . A rapid calculation in my head came up wit 4 cents multiplied by 1.5 gives me 6 centsCDN. Hmmmm , a long way from 21 cents. I decided to (because I had some extra funds) buy a NG stock.. This stock has now doubled and seems to be climbing.... To me, this in hindsight seems brilliant, doesn't it? rr
