Apparently the NDP are tonight having their big 'celebration' in the same hotel as is booked another by the Insolvency Professionals Association of BC .... lol

I met Tommy Douglas several times when he was running for Colin Cameron's seat ... late 60s, '69? ... through a non-political connection, i was living there at the time ... and, as it happens, reading Ayn Rand, lol .... knew Bingo Dave as well, and i still maintain that he has been unfairly treated ... well, partly by himself, through those actions, yes for sure [but that is viewing the past with hindsight, and applying the letter of the law while, to some degree, ignoring its spirit] ..... but TD was all right, brilliant and funny and very quick to understand ... if we had been teenagers in the 30s with the sort of formative input he had, we'd have done well to accomplish half of what he did

We'll miss Corky Evans, if he doesn't make it ... on no others of the current regime would i urinate should they be on fire .... i don't like Campbell one bit, big potential for screwups here imho, and migawd couldn't they think up a better party title than 'Liberal', lol ... but at least we finally got rid of the frikin NDP.
