Hi Don Green; Re Sony vs Microsoft in game boxes... I don't know how to call this, but I'm inclined to agree with you. On the other hand, Microsoft definitely has more experience in providing an operating system that games run under.

But what I really wanted to take the time to mention in this post is that I don't think Nvidia is going to be wildly successful with their first chipsets for PCs. The reason is that I think chipsets are a lot more complicated, and for more brutal reasons, than graphics cards.

MSFT doesn't know how to compete, it only knows how to buy out it's competitors.

You mean like they bought out IBM? Or were you thinking of Wordperfect? Or Lotus? Or Novell? Or Borland? Or...

Do you think they will buy out Sony too?
