"Oil revenues directed to southern Sudan" Text of report by Sudan TV, in Arabic, on 15 May The second round of the Sudanese-European talks continued today at the Ministry of External Relations with the participation of the minister of justice, Ali Muhammad Uthman Yasin. The chairman of the European side and charge d'affaires of the Netherlands embassy, presented a report regarding their visit to the oil producing areas and commended the efforts being made to direct the [oil] revenues to serve the residents of the oil producing areas. For his part, the minister of justice described the European side's report as objective. He said the funds allocated to southern Sudan in the national general budget far exceeded the oil revenues.
