Well, you are mistaken if you lump a fixed price convertible in with a floorless. A fixed price convertible allows a company to get funding at a lower than market interest rate, and to sell equity at a higher than market price in one stroke.

I sure wouldn't know from your posts that you don't worry about other folks' accounts. It seems like all you do.

I side with Barb here...GX has not issued toxic convertibles and has issued convertible preferred which gives GX shareholders the benefit of the foibles of the tax code which are beneficial to issuers of such. Your personal prejudice is not market-based. IMO when the final book on GX is written, many chapters will laud the corporate finance.
