I have an important decision to make here- and I'd like yall's (or youse guys) input.

There is a rather large piece of land up for sale at auction this saturday in my old home county- it is in the middle of nowhere, but it is good land. 500+ acres of farm, timber, and pasture land in KY. It is in a 'mineral rich' area, and may go cheap. It's divided into several parcels.

I am likely to bid on some- and maybe a great deal of it, if the price is right.

Is this a good idea at this point and time??

Obviously I think it is, but I have been known to be wrong before, although not on RE.. yet. <g>

>>>LOL, you're real sharp! ho ho ho<<<

At least as sharp as a dentist...which is more than I can say for some people on the board who couldn't recognize the opportunity for and signs of gaming and gouging in the CA market.

>>>Untoward?<<<

Yes, hun. It's a real word with a real definition. Look it up in the dictionary.
