A little off topic. I hear the dot coms are coming back. They are going reinvent themselves on a commercial version of the www using different client and server software on IP nodes, that is database oriented and will have a giant heirarchalpha preindexed node space. It will be the x web, or xeb for short. Apparently they are working out some kind of reliable broadcast utility (mbone like but more pervasive) to minimize connection oriented traffic.
