It's rude to have beliefs and act on them.

That would be a bit of a surprise to Washington, who had his officers pray together before battle.

I assume you also think it's bad practice and rude for the Senate to open every session with prayer.

Of course it wouldn't occur to you that it's rude for you to impose your anti-religious beliefs on him. Nope. Wouldn't occur to you.

As to bad management practice, his record of management success speaks for itself. Unless you think you know better?
