of the yellow stuff and kinda like it?

Some of the major gem & jewelry shows are really cool. Most of the larger U.S. cities have at least one show ea yr. Whet to quite a few in the 80s partnering with a dealer. There are usually quite a few killer gemstones at every show.(g)

High quality, unmounted gems, especially the "big three", Rubies, Emeralds and Sapphires tend to appreciate strongly in value during inflationary upcycles. Tip: Go for highest quality, before carat size. Quality always comes first when it comes to LT appreciation.

Stick to what you know a lot about.
