Not sure what Avici has to do with my post concerning some of the things related to market direction (EPS, 18 attempts by the DOW to bust through 11K, support/resistance levels for the indices, DTL's, etc...). Yes, I read the Dell'Oro reports yesterday as soon as they were released. I made a post in the Juniper folder about the marketshare progress within the space of OC-48+ (marketshare is Cisco with 59%, Juniper with 38% and Avici with 2%) as well as the OC-3 to OC-12 space (where the rankings are Cisco, Juniper, Unisphere and Nortel dropping from second place to fourth place). Some things that concern me about Avici's future center around the software platform. Can the market support more than the IOS or JUNOS? Time will tell...
