Current technology of interest? Submicron lithography in semiconductor industry, where pushing towards 0.10 micron or smaller has serious benefits in energy consumption and power and speed of computation. The productivity gains will benefit all industries. Convergence technology in communications industries where wireless technology will be able to communicate with each other linking cable and internet; and creating digital TV services from microwave towers by wireless telephone numbers as channels. Production equipment automation using realtime Linux operating system will further productivity, when the time will come, that all products will be made touched by no human hands. Any other technology considerations will be posted as they develop, which will and may effect corporate planning.
