You really are weary <g>. But then again, you are probably somehow correct with that term.

Perhaps a good project for post-June 1 would be to come up with a positive substitute for "empty nest", which sounds so forlorn (or is it forlornly?). I know a number of women who seem to have survived the change, even in some cases with the double whammy of a divorce or death of a husband. But I can't recall any men that I know ever mentioning the subject.
