John: The fog of interrelationships in the CDMA network bidding lifts a bit.

The real story is the depth of involvement of Chinese companies with CDMA.

This is GSM and the Euro's GSPR/UMTS Achilles heel.

Dr J spent years working to help local Chinese companies involved in CDMA.

CDMA is a practical path to "partnership" and less dependence on imports of Euro designed and produced GSM and GPRS.

CDMA is a means for national pride.

And major exports worldwide.

And "cooperation" with India and other Asian countries in CDMA WLL as well as full "mobile".

And the wireless data internet nexus.

And even "green phones".

Very strong advantages.

Only time and actual competition itself will tell, but the future of CDMA in China and therefore worldwide - (except behind Europe's moats)looks bright.

Once more Dr J deserves congratulations for his vision, persistence and execution.

Best.
