It looks like JNPR and CIEN will be the new leaders in the telecom space, replacing CSCO and NT. Somebody is going to grow out of the NGN group to be quite a powerhouse and have quite a market cap moving forward. Certainly Juniper and Ciena are two candidates that have the 'potential' be important longer term players. It all depends on execution, consolidation within the industry and of course - the technology fixes to address the broken problems as they come along. BB
