What a line of bull!

AMD could implement clock throttling as an offshoot of PowerNow! Such an implementation would drop the voltage along with the frequency, resulting in more than a 10% drop in power consumption for a 10% drop in performance. In view of this potential, how can a linear relationship be considered ideal?
